Be the clear answer, not one of ten blue links
Answer Engine Optimisation shapes your content so search engines and assistants can lift a direct, accurate answer from it, and credit you for it.
What AEO covers
Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) is the practice of structuring content so that "answer engines", such as Google's featured snippets and People Also Ask boxes, voice assistants and AI-generated overviews, can extract a direct answer from your page.
In practice it means finding the questions your buyers ask, answering each one clearly near the top of a relevant page, backing the answer with detail and evidence, and marking the page up so its structure is unambiguous. AEO builds on SEO; it doesn't replace it. A page still needs to be crawlable, fast and trusted.

What is the difference between SEO and AEO?
SEO aims to rank pages in search results. AEO aims to have your content used as the direct answer to a question, in featured snippets, voice responses or AI summaries. AEO depends on good SEO foundations; it's a layer on top.
Does FAQ schema still help?
Google now shows FAQ rich results only for a limited set of authoritative sites, so schema alone won't produce them. Well-structured question-and-answer content still helps search engines and AI systems understand your page, which is why we use it carefully.
Can you guarantee a featured snippet?
No. Google decides which answer to show and changes it often. We improve your chances by writing the clearest, best-supported answer, and we track the results.
